So, my personal opinion is, for the last decade the firearms industry was fueled on fear, personal protection. You have to protect your home. You have to protect your person. Also, it was fear that the government was going to enact these laws to take away our gun rights. So it created this buying frenzy. Honestly, if there’s a Democratic president in office, our gun sales are substantially higher. A Republican goes in, if you have a Republican house or Senate, then people aren’t as afraid of losing their gun rights. So sales kind of taper off and settle to normal, I guess you would say. But it really, honestly, this gun industry depends on who the president is, and if it’s a Democrat, they’re the best salesmen ever.
