The biggest issues of this country are definitely the wealth disparities, which in turn lead to racial disparities … No, racial disparities, wealth disparities are very tied into each other. Honestly, capitalism is a huge problem because just that as an economic system, it’s not working. It implies disparity. It implies someone’s going to be working for someone. I’m not saying we need to be a communist state, but consider socialism. Because we look at other countries like Switzerland, the Netherlands— they’re having a great time and their economic systems are very different and even their ideals on race are very different. So yeah, capitalism definitely needs to change and I feel like a lot of things would change because of that.
