Christin Khaukha
In-House Curator
Christin Khaukha is the in-house curator of photoSCHWEIZ and is known for her intuition, creativity and in-depth exploration of photographic practices. Her curatorial journey began at ZHdK, where she completed her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts while curating exhibitions to put her knowledge into practice. Christin Khaukha has been curating the special exhibitions for photoSCHWEIZ since 2024.
With a trained eye for nuance and narrative, Khaukha carefully considers how images interact with space and context. In her spare time, she researches photographic and curatorial approaches and visits exhibitions to discover new ways of curating. Her ability to take different perspectives allows her to create exhibitions that are visually arresting, intellectually engaging and guided by her intuition.
In addition to her curatorial work, Khaukha creates sculptural creatures inspired by everyday objects and people. Photography has become an important part of her practice and serves as a means of research, documentation and collage work.
