Highlights of photoSCHWEIZ 2026
His photos are icons of music history: Norman Anderson, known as Normski, documented both the early years of hip-hop in his hometown of London and the birth of techno in London and Detroit—not as an observer, but as part of the scene.
On a four-month road trip through 40 U.S. states, Braschler Fischer profiled, interviewed, and filmed Americans from all walks of life, thereby revealing, as it were, the inner turmoil of the people and their nation.
Last year, the performance “Women For Peace – No Peace without Women” by the renowned Parisian photographic artist IRIS BROSCH was a spectacular visual event. A visual manifesto for peace inspired by ancient mythology, it featured over 90 (!) women from a wide variety of cultures.
To mark his 80th birthday, photoSCHWEIZ is dedicating a major special exhibition to Hannes Schmid.
