photoSCHWEIZ is the largest and most prestigious photography exhibition in Switzerland. Our vision is to provide the photo community not only with the best possible national platform during one week each year but also to help contemporary works gain greater visibility, recognition, and ultimately more success worldwide and throughout the year with photoINTERNATIONAL.

The camera is the tool photographers use to illuminate the subjects close to their hearts with light and shadow. Their works have the power to portray complex themes in a visual and emotional way, prompting viewers to reflect. Photography brings different perspectives into focus, fosters dialogue on cultural, political, and ecological issues, and preserves stories and events for future generations. We want to support creatives even more in their work and expand our commitment to the art of photography beyond national borders to make an essential contribution to intercultural understanding. This will be achieved through additional events and a hybrid platform for curated photography, enabling photographers to inspire people around the world with their passion.
