Photographs of Tomorrow's World

In collaboration with Reporters Without Borders

With “Photographs of Tomorrow’s World,” photoSCHWEIZ presents a powerful international photography exhibition by Reporters Without Borders (RSF), created to mark the organization’s 40th anniversary. On display are 44 works by international photojournalists that shed light on the central issues of our time: the environment, exile, and crises. The selected images document a world in upheaval, depict life in extreme situations, and bring to light what often goes unnoticed.

The exhibition highlights the essential role of independent photojournalism—especially at a time when press freedom is increasingly under threat and reliable, on-the-ground reporting is becoming ever more important. The works on display are testimonies to courageous, often risky documentary practice and serve as an important reminder of the significance of reliable reporting for the future of our society.

“Photographs of Tomorrow’s World” invites viewers to look closely, to remember, and to appreciate anew the value of independent visual reporting.
