Call For Entries photoSCHWEIZ 2026

Shirin Kavin, exhibitor photoSCHWEIZ 25

Who would have thought that a move could release so much positive energy. Energy that we have gratefully absorbed and invested in the further development of photoSCHWEIZ. After all, photoSCHWEIZ is set to grow into one of the most relevant European photography festivals, in the heart of the city of Zurich, with pop-up shows in the run-up - more on that soon.

It is with great enthusiasm that we officially open the CALL FOR ENTRIES for photoSCHWEIZ 2026, which will take place from Fri 06 - Tue 10 February 2026 at the Kongresshaus Zurich . Surprise us with exciting, current works. Fresh, cheeky, relevant, aesthetic. Differentiate yourselves visually.

We have adapted the curation process to your needs that have emerged in recent years. The aim is to further increase the quality of the exhibition.

Phase 1: Our in-house curator Christin Khaukha reviews all submitted works. She decides whether a work is accepted directly or whether there is potential for optimization. Our software is also new: You can design your exhibition cube digitally when you register for the first time. In future, this layout will be a mandatory part of the curation process and will simplify the process for everyone involved.

Phase 2: If there is a need for optimization, our curatorial advisory board will be consulted. In personal portfolio sessions in November (Sat 8.11., Sat 22. 11., Sat 29.11.2025) in Zurich, the works are discussed together and concretely improved - not digitally, but in direct exchange. In this way, all applicants benefit optimally: both photographically and in the staging and presentation of their work. More information will follow.

As previously announced, the CALL FOR ENTRIES will run until October 31, 2025 and the number of participants is limited to 250. So apply early with your best work from the last 12 months and become part of the largest photography show in Switzerland.
